Spring cutting robotic solution

Description of Project:

The 3D spring cutting solution is equipped with an advanced high-performance plasma cutting inverter source.

To ensure a continuous duty cycle the robotic work cell includes a two-position indexing table providing automatic change of position of work piece between the robot and the operator. As part of the robotic solution specially designed pneumatic tooling, with an emphasis determining the position of the "tail" of the spring, is provided, which is necessary to automate the cutting process.

To eliminate plasma and metal buildup on the inner diameter of the springs during the cutting process, the specially designed Air-boring system for preventing scaling is included in the robotic work cell.

The working area of ​​the operator is protected by a light barrier.
