Robotic Welding Public Transport Trains

An industrial robot as part of a welding solution performs welding of the end walls of gondola cars.

The robotic line consists of two sections. In section No. 1, the operator lays and positions all the elements of the end wall in the tooling.

After laying is complete, the operator confirms the readiness of the section using an external control panel and the robot moves to the work area to weld the end wall on one side in accordance with the work program.

After welding is complete, the pneumatic tilter moves the product to the opposite side (section No. 2) and the robot automatically moves to this area to perform the final welding.
