Robotic Plasma Spring Cutting

Robotic solution performs Plasma Cutting of Springs in fully automatic mode.

To ensure a continuous work cycle, a two-position rotary table is included in the complex, providing automatic change of positions between the robot and the operator.

For convenient installation of products, a special pneumatic tooling with a stop determining the position of the "tail" of the spring has been designed, which is necessary for the adaptability of the cutting process.

The robot is equipped with a modern inverter plasma cutting source.

To prevent plasma and metal from sticking to the inner surface of the spring, a special blowing system has been developed.

The operator's working area is protected by a light barrier.
