Flexible Robotic Work Cell For TIG Welding

Nordica Sterling engineers have introduced a flexible robotic work cell for automatic welding of various types of aluminium products using TIG technology.

The work cell includes two positioners, each of which provides two options for controlled rotation of products in the welding process 1) Rotation in two axes (rotation and tilt), 2) Rotation in one (horizontal) axis using a support module.

The versatility of the positioners allow welding of a wide range of products assisted by two independent working zones to minimize robot downtime.
